1. Chocolate cake

Now, who doesn’t love a chocolate cake? It is one of the most favourites and when in doubt, chocolate cake is the cheapest option. You might think it must require a lot of effort and training to bake a delicious chocolate cake but that’s not the fact.

Ingredients List:

 

  • Flour – 1 cup
  • Butter – 10 grams
  • Eggs – 2
  • Baking powder – 1 tbsp
  • Chocolate powder – 2 tbsp
  • Caster sugar – 3/4th cup
  • Vanilla essence – a few drops

How To:

1. Sieve the flour, baking powder and chocolate powder so that there are no big lumps.

2. Melt the butter in room temperature and mix sugar with it.

3. Continuously but with soft hands keep beating the eggs and pouring the sugar-butter mixture little by little.

4. Now drop the dry ingredients and Vanilla extract into the egg blend.

Line the baking container with parchment paper and pour the batter in it.

5. Make sure the oven is preheated at 180 degrees C and then keep the cake in it for baking for 30 to 35 minutes. To check if it has baked from inside, insert a toothpick and see if it comes out clean.

6. Take it out and let it cool completely. Viola! you have your cake and person beautiful decoration sprinkle icing sugar on it.

Vanilla Sponge Cake

Ingredients:

  • Eggs – 2
  • Flour – 1 cup
  • Caster sugar – 3/4 cups
  • Butter – 100gms
  • Baking powder – 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence – a few drops

How to:

1. Make sure to keep the event preheated at 180 degrees C.

2. Filter the dry ingredients, flour and baking powder.

3. Mix the sugar and melted butter in a bowl.

4. Continuously but with soft hands keep beating the eggs and pouring the sugar-butter mixture little by little.

5. Now drop the dry ingredients and Vanilla extract into the egg blend.

Line the baking container with parchment paper and pour the batter in it.

6. Baked a cake for 35 minutes and test with a toothpick.

7. Leave the cake to cool for 30 minutes before eating.

Coffee Mug Cake

Ingredients

  • Granulated sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/8th tsp
  • All-purpose flour – 2 and a half tbsp
  • Brown sugar – 1/2 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil or Greek yoghurt – 1 tbsp
  • Milk or almond milk – 1tbsp
  • Baking powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Vanilla essence – one drop
  • Ground cinnamon – 1/4 tsp

How to:

1. Apply a non-stick cooking oil on the inside of the mug so that the cake batter doesn’t stick.

2. Now pour flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, vanilla and keep mixing it until they are joined well. For more taste, sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar on top.

3. Put it in the microwave and bake for 45 seconds. Check if it’s ready. If not, go for another 15 seconds.

4. Cool it down and you have your beautiful “Cup” cake.

Rava or Suji cake

  • Suji – 1cup
  • Plain yoghurt 1 cup
  • Caster sugar 1 cup
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts, pistachio, and almonds for garnishing

How to:

1. Sieve the dry ingredients like Suji, baking powder and cinnamon powder so that there are no lumps.

2. The ghee should be completely melted in room temperature. Mix the sugar with ghee.

3. Now add this mixture to the yoghurt and delicately keep beating it.

4. Pour the milk in suji and add the mixture of yoghurt, sugar, ghee.

5. Sprinkle the cinnamon powder and let the batter sit for 2 hours.

6. Now Sprinkle the dry fruits and preheat the micro oven at 180 degrees C.

7. Pour the batter into a baking container and let it bake for 10 to 15 minutes. When you see the edges turning brown, your cake is ready.

Banana Bread Cake

  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Caster sugar 3/4 cup
  • Over-Ripened Bananas – 3
  • Vanilla Essence – a few drops

How To:

1. Keep the oven preheated at 180 degrees C.

2. Sieve the dry ingredients like flour, baking powder and cinnamon powder so that there are no lumps.

3. Blend the bananas and butter in a blender

4. Mix the sugar and egg.

5. Now add this blend to the dry ingredients and mix the vanilla extract.

6. Grease the baking container with oil and pour the batter.

7. Bake the cake for 35 minutes.

8. This cake tastes better when it’s slightly warm and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
